Paola Chamorro brings a strong background in public policy, legal compliance, and client-centered advocacy to her role as a paralegal at Paolantonio Crawford.

She earned her degree in Public Policy from New York University, where her studies focused on ethics, justice, and quantitative analysis. Paola is fluent in Spanish and has conversational proficiency in French, allowing her to effectively assist a diverse client base.

Prior to joining the firm, Paola served as a Contract Paralegal with the New York City Department of Education, where she managed high-volume special education compliance matters under federal IDEA regulations. She designed and implemented an automated tracking system that eliminated missed deadlines and significantly reduced compliance violations, helping safeguard students’ access to essential educational services.

Paola also brings private-practice experience from her time as a Legal Assistant at Subin Associates, where she supported personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial. Her work included drafting motions, managing discovery, coordinating with courts and medical providers, serving subpoenas, and conducting legal research. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Calendar Clerk, managing court appearances and firmwide scheduling across multiple jurisdictions.
